Our Team

Paige Clutton

Hello! My name is Paige Clutton (she/her). I am a student completing my Master of Counselling degree through the University of Lethbridge.

Life has its ups and downs and sometimes we may need help along the way to live our most authentic lives or be the best versions of ourselves. It can feel very scary reaching out for help and we are here to support you in this process. A counselor's role is to help you recognize your strengths, work through obstacles in your life, and to help normalize your experiences.

I value the therapeutic relationship that is formed within the counselling room. I feel that all people deserve to feel heard, connected, seen, and understood. I feel that all clients present with a unique life story and that it is from this story that we can begin to collaborate on a wellness plan together. I practice from a client-centered and integrative therapeutic approach in that I feel that all client's needs differ and therefore so do their interventions. Together in counselling we will work towards commonly agreed-upon goals that are meaningful for that individual and for what it is you are looking to gain from the counselling process. I hope to provide you with a safe space that allows you to feel challenged yet understood. I respect clients’ autonomy in their choices and honor clients' diverse backgrounds in my work. I value your feedback and want to ensure that your needs are being met during our time together.

My office is a non-judgmental, welcoming, and calming environment where individuals of all cultures, ages, and identity are welcome. I welcome anyone who feels we would be a good fit to reach out and take that first step!

I began my work in human services as a careworker by providing both social, emotional, and academic support to a youth living with autism. I have spent two years working on a crisis line by helping to support youth in the community who need immediate support. I have also worked with children and families in various capacities over the years. I also spent one and a half years as part of a team of people who connected with isolated senior citizens in my community during the pandemic. My love for working with children stems from wanting to support young individuals who may be experiencing struggles that feel so much bigger than them.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, mountain biking, bouldering, and spending time with friends or family.
